🛡️ Health & Safety Policy

At Kyles Kleaning Services, the safety of our clients and cleaning professionals is non-negotiable. To maintain a safe working environment, we strictly adhere to health and safety standards and do not provide service in unsafe conditions.

🚫 Conditions We Do Not Clean

Our team will not clean homes containing any of the following:

  • 🦠 Visible mold or suspected mold growth
  • ☣️ Biohazardous materials, including blood, bodily fluids, or medical waste
  • 🐾 Excessive animal waste or feces
  • 🚮 Severely unsanitary or hazardous conditions
  • 🧪 Hazardous or unknown chemicals
  • 🪳 Active pest or rodent infestations
  • 💧 Flooding, standing water, or sewage backup

These conditions require licensed remediation or specialty cleanup services and fall outside the scope of residential cleaning.

⚠️ If Unsafe Conditions Are Discovered

  • ❌ Service may be refused, paused, or terminated immediately if unsafe conditions are found upon arrival.
  • 📸 Documentation may be taken for record purposes.
  • 🔄 Cleaning services may be rescheduled only after professional remediation is completed.
  • 💲 A cancellation or service interruption fee may apply if the condition was not disclosed in advance.

🧼 Why This Policy Is Strict

  • 🧑‍⚕️ Mold spores and biohazards pose serious health risks.
  • 👷‍♀️ Our team is not equipped nor insured to handle hazardous cleanup.
  • 🏡 Our services are limited to standard and detailed residential cleaning only.

🤝 Client Responsibility

📝 Clients are required to disclose any known or suspected mold, biohazardous conditions, or pest infestations prior to service.

Failure to disclose unsafe or hazardous conditions may result in immediate denial of service, cancellation of the appointment, and applicable service or $40 cancellation fees.

🚽 Client-Provided Toilet Cleaner & Brush Policy

For health, sanitation, and cleaning effectiveness, Kyles Kleaning Services kindly asks clients to provide their own toilet cleaner for use during service and follow the brush guidelines below.

🦠 Why This Policy Is Important

  • 🛡️ Sanitary Safety
Toilet cleaning involves direct contact with bacteria and waste. Household-specific products reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
  • 👷‍♀️ Health Protection
Proper tools and products protect both our clients and cleaning professionals.

🪠 Toilet Brush Guidelines (Important)

  • Recommended:
A standard bristle toilet brush (plastic bristles) cleans effectively and removes buildup from the bowl surface.
  • Not Recommended: Rubber or Silicone Toilet Brushes
    Rubber/silicone brushes:
    • ❌ Do not scrub effectively
    • Push residue around rather than removing it
    • ❌ Do not reach textured areas or under the rim
    • ❌ Leave behind bacteria and buildup
These brushes may make the toilet appear wet or wiped, but they do not provide a true disinfecting clean.

🧽 What We Provide

  • 🪠 Toilet Brush Available if Needed
If you do not have a toilet brush, our team will bring and use our own bristle toilet brush when needed.

📋 What to Expect

  • 🧴 Please have your preferred toilet cleaner easily accessible on the day of service.
  • ⚠️ If only a rubber/silicone brush is available, or no toilet cleaner is provided, we will clean to the best of our ability; however, a full detailed scrub may not be possible.

✔️ Our Commitment

We are committed to maintaining a safe environment while operating with honesty, professionalism, and respect. When necessary, we are happy to guide clients toward the appropriate remediation professionals before resuming service.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we protect the health and safety of everyone involved.
